1. Didier Drogba
The Ivory Coast legend won four Premier League titles with Chelsea during two spells at Stamford Bridge but incredibly Drogba has never won the Player of the Month award.
Back in the 2006-07 season, Drogba was crowned the Premier League’s top scorer after netting 20 goals and was also named in UEFA’s Team of the Year. He also finished fourth in the 2010 Ballon d’Or vote after netting 29 goals in 32 Premier League games. However,
despite his prolific goalscoring exploits, Drogba has never won the Player of the Month award with Chelsea.
2. Peter Schmeichel
The former Denmark international goalkeeper won five Premier League titles during his time at Manchester United and was instrumental in Sir Alex Ferguson’s treble-winning campaign in 1998/99. After leaving United
in 1999, Schmeichel spent two years in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon before returning to England for a season with Aston Villa, where he most likely won the Player of the Month award. Back
in October 2001, the former Denmark international was in fine form, helping Villa to three wins in four games and two clean sheets, but the award went to former Leeds United and England defender Rio Ferdinand.
3. Patrick Vieira
The legendary French midfielder and former Arsenal captain has never won the Player of the Month award with the Gunners, despite picking up the Premier League Player of the Season award in 2000-01.
Vieira spent nine years at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger and was a key figure in the Gunners’ midfield and on the pitch. He was also a key member of the Gunners’ historic Invincibles side of 2003-04.
Incredibly, however, the former France international never won the Player of the Month award during his time in the top flight.
4. Vincent Kompany

former Ivy Coast midfielder came closest to winning the Player of the Month award in 2013/14, when he was the playmaker for City and scored a stunning 24 goals for the Citizens. However, the Player of the Month award
