  • “The Proud Lion” is strong and consistent.
  • The “Golden Spurs” showed excellent form in their comeback after being led first.

Spurs struggles to defend set-pieces continue.

When Villa’s Morgan Rogers poked home from a yard out after Lucas Digne’s corner was flicked on into the six-yard box.

“Yeah, look, we conceded from a set-piece. I know I’m on my own on this, I don’t like them. To me… it looks like a (rugby) scrum. I just don’t think that’s what football’s about,” he said.

“But it’s part of football these days, where you can just drop the ball in the box and people can fight over it. So disappointing for us to concede from that, but in general I thought we handled their set pieces really well.

Tottenham Hotspur Australian manager Ange Postecoglou has revealed his satisfaction with the “Spurs” team’s 4-1 home win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

“I thought before the game that we were going to ทางเข้า ufabet play against a top team and you know Villa always come out strong. Because they are so consistent. They hardly ever falter and you have to be ready for that,” Postecoglou said afterwards.

“I think we have to match their performance in the first half. We have to bring out their energy and make them work hard. Obviously we conceded the first goal but we made them work hard in the first half.”

“You know what we have is we have another gear in us, we have two or three gears and we are determined to get the goal back. We feel we can score the goal. Our players came out strong in the second half, we are still focused on making sure. We have a better rhythm and more intensity in the game.”

“I have to give credit to the players. After they tried so hard on Wednesday night (against Manchester City), at least they know their bodies can do it again.”
